Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Tours stores and provides feedback, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates.
  • Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, managing customer needs and ensuring resolution.
  • Drives financial performance and sales by reviewing Profit Loss statements, managing budgets, and controlling expenses.
  • Ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Coordinates and oversees job-related activities and assignments, developing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, upholding standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Works collaboratively, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact to motivate and influence.
  • Attracts and retains talent, empowers and develops talent, and recognizes others' contributions.
  • Acts in a selfless manner, is humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent.
  • Delivers results while putting the customer first, considering how, where, and when customers shop.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
