Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities for food industry customers.
  • Reinstate Tetra Pak food packaging and processing systems equipment.
  • Execute installation and commissioning tasks of complete Tetra Pak systems.
  • Execute installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits.
  • Report technical issues and business opportunities to relevant staff.
  • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak, promoting good working relationships with customers.
  • Execute and complete all relevant reports accurately and timely.
  • Ensure adherence to personnel safety, food safety, and customer safety regulations.
  • Escalate food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory issues.
  • Conduct on-site/off-site Operator and Mechanical training.
  • Maintain an issue resolution database and perform troubleshooting/fault-finding.
  • Conduct regular time entry, service reporting, and e-mail correspondence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Systems, Automation, Process, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 years of related experience.
  • Work experience in vapor compression refrigeration systems, including ammonia (R-717) systems.
  • Work experience in low and high voltage electrical equipment ranging from 24 to 600 volts.
  • Basic Allen Bradley automation knowledge and connecting to various PLCs, inverters, and servos using Allen Bradley software including RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, and RS Logix Studio.
  • Work experience in troubleshooting and rebuilding various mechanical systems.
  • Work experience in providing customer trainings on modern automated industrial food processing equipment.
  • Work experience in reading and understanding electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.

Desired Qualifications

  • 25% Domestic and international travel required.
  • Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
