Tetra Pak is seeking a Treasury Associate in Seoul, Korea to support treasury operations, accounting, and payment processing. This role involves cash management, forecasting, expense administration, and collaborating with internal teams and banking partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily liquidity planning and payment processing.
- Prepare and maintain a 12-month cash flow forecast and analyze variances.
- Execute foreign exchange (FX) transactions, including hedging and payments.
- Support withholding tax filings and other treasury-related tax requirements.
- Coordinate bank facility management and related matters.
- Process and manage travel and expense claims through Concur.
- Administer and manage corporate card programs.
- Issue sales tax invoices in compliance with local regulations.
- Process HR-related payments, including pension, insurance, and statutory obligations.
- Support month-end closing, external audits, and tax return preparation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams, shared service centers, banks, auditors, and external providers.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders for timely and accurate transaction processing.
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Accounting major preferred).
- Minimum 3-4+ years of relevant working experience (internships not included).
- Previous experience in treasury, accounting, finance operations, or cash management.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Accounting and tax knowledge.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong process discipline.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with clear and effective communication skills.
- Korean as 1st language.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with multinational organizations and shared service centers is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and Concur.
