Amazon ROC is seeking a Transportation Specialist I in Hyderabad to manage freight pick-up and delivery, resolve exceptions, and support stakeholders across NA and EU regions. The role involves communication with external and internal customers, using internal tools, and analyzing data to ensure timely operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate flow of information between different stakeholders (Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses) and resolve issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.
  • Work across Inbound (IB) and Outbound (OB) operations, managing vendor/shipper/carrier/Amazon sites relationships.
  • Address potential issues such as appointment bookings, reschedules, in-transit disruptions, and weather impact situations.
  • Support tasks like load scheduling, load cancellations, network capacity management, and coordinating with non-Amazon transportation organizations.
  • Research and query internal tools, and make real-time decisions to resolve issues.
  • Analyze data and effectively communicate resolutions to meet network speed and customer promise.
  • Ideate and drive process improvements.
  • Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers, Shippers, Drivers) and internal customers (Amazon sites, business teams and stakeholders).
  • Maintain high-standards of quality and productivity.
  • Systemically escalate problems to the relevant owners and teams and follow through the closure of the issues.
  • Work with Amazon Internal tools, MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Understand the business impact of trends and make decisions in the best interest of customers and the organization.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
  • Support rotational shifts (24*7, 365 days) for NA and EU regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • 0–5 years of experience in customer support/operations support.
  • Strong English communication skills through various means (verbal, written, or assisted communication methods) for freshers with no experience.
