In short

As a Transportation Representative in Amazon's Network Operation Center (NOC), you will facilitate freight movement, resolve transportation exceptions, and contribute to process improvements within the Amazon Supply Chain. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work in a dynamic, 24/7 operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate flow of information between external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
  • Systematically escalate problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams, and follow through on resolutions.
  • Communicate findings and variances to goals in a review forum.
  • Provide real-time customer experience by working in a 24/7 operating environment.
  • Ideate and drive process improvements.
  • Address potential issues occurring during the lifecycle of pick-up to delivery (Inbound) or freight leaving the FC to reaching customer premises (Outbound).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 12-24 months of work experience.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team in a very dynamic environment.
  • Basic understanding of Logistics.
