As a Transportation Representative at Amazon's Network Operations Center (NOC), you will facilitate information flow and resolve issues impacting transportation execution across multiple geographies. This remote role requires a Bachelor's degree, 12-24 months of experience, proficiency in Excel, and strong communication skills to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of freight.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate flow of information between different stakeholders (Trans Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses).
- Resolve issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.
- Address potential issues during the lifecycle of pick-up to delivery (Inbound) and freight leaving the FC to customer premises (Outbound).
- Provide timely resolution by researching internal tools and making real-time decisions.
- Ideate process improvements and drive them to conclusion.
- Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
- Systematically escalate problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams and follow through on resolutions.
- Create a narrative outlining weekly findings and variances to goals, and present them in a review forum.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 12-24 months of work experience.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team in a very dynamic environment.
- Basic understanding of Logistics.
