Responsible for designing, implementing, and migrating multi-region network infrastructures using technologies like SDWAN, SD-Access, and DMVPN. Requires in-depth knowledge of routing protocols, data center design, and various Cisco and Arista platforms, along with experience in wireless networking and network automation.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implementation & migration experience on multi region head ends & sites based on Viptela SDWAN, SD-Access & DMVPN
  • In depth experience on routing protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPBGP
  • Datacenter design & migration experience including multi-site/multipod, Nexus 4500, 5000 with vPC, DC L2 extension protocols OTV, VXLAN
  • In depth experience on STP protocols PVST+, RSTP, MST, platform experience on Cisco & Arista
  • Design & Implementation experience on 801.1x on Cisco gear, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Site-to-Site IPSEC, GRE VPNs, NAT, QoS, Multicast, VRFs, F5 LTM, cisco ISE, DNA center
  • Creation of HLD/LLD documents including customer reviews and sign off
  • Establishes and maintains network performance improvement activities
  • Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation
  • Hands on experience with Cisco Nexus switches 2k, 5k & 7k & Catalyst switches
  • Knowledge of redundancy protocol Stack-switch/VSS/SWV/Port-channel
  • Hands-on experience in Meraki SDWAN technologies
  • Hands-on Experience in Ruckus wireless
  • Hands-on experience in Netscaler
  • Good knowledge of L2/L3 protocols for IP networks (DHCP, DNS, SNMP, PPP, ICMP, ARP, NAT, QoS, NTP)
  • Hands on experience in network automations
  • Experience in Fortinet LB
  • Experience firepower
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware release, performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes & security configurations
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and faults
  • Update changes in documentation where necessary, while also providing on-going feedback in the development and improvement of documentation held for our customers deployments
  • Support the on-going development of the tiered support teams, via cross-training, documentation, knowledge share etc
  • Work alongside line manager, playing a key role in the SOC strategy
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until issues solved a technical aspect
  • Trainings & KB Documentation
  • Team player , willing to work in rotational shift as business demand
