We are looking for an experienced L3.2 Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise-scale AVD environments. This role involves architecture, advanced troubleshooting, automation, and strategic improvements for a secure and high-performing virtual desktop ecosystem. The position is based in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end AVD architecture and design.
- Define best practices for Host pools, session hosts, app groups, and image strategy/scaling models.
- Improve operational systems, processes, and policies to support better management reporting, information flow, and business process planning.
- Understand client requirements and ensure the support team meets client expectations.
- Lead and mentor the project team, ensuring transparent communication of project goals.
- Bring new ideas and innovation for process development and overall organizational progress.
- Provide solutions to customers' needs within the given environment to achieve business results.
Requirements
- Highly experienced L3.2 Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer.
- Experience in leading design, optimization, and governance of enterprise-scale AVD environments.
- Focus on architecture, advanced troubleshooting, and automation.
- Understanding of host pools, session hosts, app groups, and image strategy/scaling models.
- Ability to improve operational systems, processes, and policies.
- Accountable for ensuring support team meets client expectations.
- Leadership and mentoring skills for project teams.
- Ability to bring new ideas and innovation.
- Capability to provide solutions that lead to business results.
