The Print Management & Mercury OMS Engineer (L3) role focuses on the architecture, engineering, governance, and advanced administration of enterprise print services and Mercury OMS platforms. This position serves as the highest technical escalation point for print infrastructure, managing a large-scale environment and driving transformation initiatives. The role also involves advanced support for Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, and Workplace Directory Services.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise print management solutions, defining architecture standards and governance controls.
- Administer and govern Mercury Output Management System (OMS), designing and optimizing output management workflows.
- Architect and manage enterprise print services, defining standards for office, factory, application, mobile, and follow-me printing.
- Design and maintain print queue architecture, governing print server configurations and supporting various print environments.
- Define printer lifecycle management standards, supporting procurement, refresh, migration, and retirement programs.
- Govern secure print and follow-me printing solutions, defining authentication and print security standards.
- Act as the primary technical interface for vendors like Ricoh, HP, and Xerox, and Managed Print Service Providers.
- Develop automation solutions for queue management, reporting, printer provisioning, and configuration management using PowerShell.
- Lead and execute AD, Azure AD, and Entra ID compliance and security remediation activities.
- Serve as the L3 escalation point for complex Directory Services incidents, problems, and service requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 7+ Years of experience in Enterprise Print Management.
- 5+ Years of experience in Print Server Administration.
- 5+ Years of experience in Print Queue Management.
- 5+ Years of experience in Managed Print Services.
- 3+ Years of experience in Output Management Solutions.
- 3+ Years of experience in Technical Leadership.
- 3+ Years of experience in Service Governance.
