This role serves as the highest technical escalation point for print infrastructure and directory services, ensuring compliance, optimization, and transformation initiatives for a large-scale environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain enterprise print management solutions and define print architecture standards.
  • Administer and govern Mercury Output Management System (OMS), optimizing workflows and integrations.
  • Architect and manage enterprise print services including office, factory, application, mobile, and follow-me printing.
  • Design and maintain print queue architecture and govern print server configurations.
  • Define printer lifecycle management standards and support procurement, refresh, and retirement programs.
  • Govern secure print and follow-me printing solutions, defining authentication and print security standards.
  • Act as the primary technical interface for vendors like Ricoh, HP, and Xerox.
  • Develop automation solutions for queue management, reporting, printer provisioning, and configuration management using PowerShell.
  • Provide advanced support, governance, design consultation, and escalation management for Active Directory (ADDS), Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy (GPO), and Workplace Directory Services.
  • Ensure adherence to device naming standards, directory hygiene, and security compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the L3 escalation point for complex Directory Services incidents, problems, and service requests.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot GPO conflicts, inheritance issues, and configuration inconsistencies.
  • Perform and oversee bulk directory operations, including object modifications, migrations, OU moves, and mass updates.

  • Service Management Certifications: ITIL Foundation, ITIL Intermediate (Preferred)
