Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate cloud and network security controls.
- Deploy Fortinet firewall VM instances in standardized active-passive high availability.
- Migrate or recreate firewall rules, perform tuning, hardening, and resilience validation.
- Configure secure administrative access via jump/bastion hosts.
- Support IAM, encryption, audit logging, and security visibility.
- Support GCP-side integration with Wiz and CrowdStrike.
- Validate security during migration/cutover.
- Prepare firewall matrices, runbooks, and evidence.
Requirements
- Expertise in GCP Security.
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewall.
- Experience with Fortinet high-availability deployments.
- Familiarity with Wiz and CrowdStrike integrations.
- Knowledge of IAM, encryption, audit logging, and security visibility.
- Ability to assess security, firewall, segmentation, and access-control posture.
