As a Field Service Technician for Leybold France in the South-East, you will be responsible for repairing, installing, and commissioning vacuum equipment at customer sites. This role requires a technical BTS diploma, 5-10 years of experience, and proficiency in French, with English comprehension needed for reading and writing. You will also provide technical support, training, and identify sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain vacuum equipment at customer sites
  • Repair and maintain vacuum equipment in the workshop
  • Install and commission equipment at customer locations
  • Perform assessments and repairs for claims and warranty requests
  • Provide technical support, either by troubleshooting over the phone or directly on-site
  • Deliver training to distributors and customers on product features and benefits
  • Communicate relevant information to customers, Service Manager, and Administrative team
  • Identify opportunities for service and equipment sales, and generate leads for the sales team

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer
  • Technical BTS diploma (Industrial Maintenance)
  • Fluent in French
  • English comprehension: reading and writing
  • Proficient in the use of computer tools
  • Knowledge of mechanics and electromechanics
  • Valid driver’s license

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of vacuum technologies would be an asset
