Responsibilities

  • Monitor quality in production work cells (raw material, machining, assembly, CNC, packaging).
  • Test and assess products and quality processes to ensure specifications are met.
  • Identify product defects and determine resolutions, including rework or scrap.
  • Record and report issues to management.
  • Represent the company to vendors on quality-related matters.
  • Maintain records of checks and process audits.
  • Support process improvements using Root Cause Analysis.
  • Make minor repairs or resolve minor issues to avoid rework or scrapping.

Requirements

  • Safety consciousness.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, walk/stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Existing product knowledge from raw material to finished goods.
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take and carry out directions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to product test using tape measure, calipers, scale, optical comparator, and depth gauge.
  • PC Skills—Word, Excel, JDE.
  • Problem-solving skills, including 5 whys.

Desired Qualifications

  • SOPs, Work Instruction and Standard Work—Creation and Edit experience desired.
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in one-on-one and group settings.
