We are looking for a Technical Worker with experience in automated welding equipment and welding robots to perform automatic welding of mining picks. This role requires adaptability to shift work, a strong sense of quality, and basic equipment debugging skills.
Responsibilities
- Independently operate automatic welding equipment/welding robots for welding mining pick bodies and hard alloy tips.
- Set welding parameters such as current, voltage, welding time, wire feed, and shielding gas.
- Complete workpiece clamping, loading, and unloading, and monitor the welding process.
- Identify common welding defects like false welding, desoldering, porosity, cracks, and weld deviation, adjust parameters, and report anomalies.
- Perform pre-shift equipment checks and post-shift equipment maintenance, including cleaning fixtures, cooling, gas paths, and wire feed mechanisms, and replace consumables.
- Perform self-inspection of semi-finished products to distinguish between qualified and defective products.
- Maintain 5S standards in the work area and comply with factory safety production regulations.
- Assist factory technicians in debugging new processes and welding programs for new types of mining picks.
Requirements
- College degree or above.
- Good health and ability to adapt to workshop shift work.
- Hardworking and willing to follow production site arrangements.
- Possession of a special operation welder certificate is preferred.
- Familiarity with gas shielded welding, mining pick brazing/surfacing processes is preferred.
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in mining pick automatic welding, brazing, and welding robots is preferred.
- Ability to understand operation instructions and identify weld defects.
- Understanding of welding characteristics of 42CrMo mining pick steel bodies and hard alloy tips.
- Ability to perform simple equipment debugging and troubleshoot basic equipment failures.
- Basic drawing comprehension, ability to understand simple part drawings.
- Strong quality awareness, with emphasis on weld strength.
