HCLTech is seeking a Technical Specialist in Bangalore, Karnataka for a full-time, on-site role. The position involves building and testing solution components using Web Development, UX Development, and Python, alongside managing API platforms like Apigee X/Hybrid, Containerization, and API Security. The role requires strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with approximately 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Build, code, and unit-test solution components using Web Development, UX Development, and Python.
Design, provision, configure, migrate, and tune platform components using AppMod - Apigee X, Apigee Hybrid, API Management, and Containerization, supported by Redis.
Implement, harden, test, and remediate security and access controls using AppMod - API Security.
Apply sound software engineering, configuration, and quality practices aligned to organizational standards.
Ensure adherence to secure coding, data handling, and access-control practices.
Collaborate with architects and peer engineers to validate design choices and technical trade-offs.
Analyze and validate application, integration, API, and business-process modernization requirements.
Translate stakeholder needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate requirement reviews, solution walkthroughs, demonstrations, UAT coordination, and business sign-off.
Lead stakeholder alignment, prioritization, and cross-team dependency resolution.
Support release readiness, user enablement, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live stabilization.

Requirements

Approximately 10+ years of relevant industry experience aligned to the Principal Engineer band.
Demonstrated track record of delivery in similar engagements.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency, certifications, or hands-on practice on primary tools listed for the role.
Working knowledge of AppMod domain standards, compliance expectations, and business processes.
