Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Tech Infrastructure Program Manager in Hyderabad, India, to lead the planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, developing infrastructure designs, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring on-time, cost-effective delivery of data center capacity. Requires strong communication, program management, and technical infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of new data centers across one or more availability zones in India.
  • Manage 5+ projects simultaneously.
  • Bridge internal customers, business functions (Planning, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Policy, Operations), and functional delivery teams (Construction, Commissioning, Controls, Fiber and Network).
  • Enable on-time and right-sized delivery of new data center capacity.
  • Lead early expansion planning, including feasibility analysis and approval of expansion plans and build timelines.
  • Evaluate factors like owned/leased/collocated data center supply, utility delivery, and long lead equipment availability.
  • Monitor in-flight projects, major risks, and remediation efforts to ensure data center delivery meets supply commitments and customer demand.
  • Manage metrics, tools, and mechanisms to identify and address risks and issues.
  • Communicate up, down, and across the organization to align direction, gain support, and drive remediation efforts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
