Responsibilities

  • Define project goals, including financial, scheduling, and quality objectives.
  • Establish project plans, milestones, toll-gates, and deliverables.
  • Select and coordinate project core team members.
  • Track project progress and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Autoliv quality systems and project management processes.
  • Monitor risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive corrective measures.
  • Escalate project issues appropriately and proactively.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for project-related matters.
  • Represent project interests in customer and supplier meetings.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and reporting.
  • Drive professional change management and negotiate changes or claims.
  • Provide regular project status updates.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations and business verticals.
  • Support a "One Autoliv" mindset through strong partnership and engagement.
  • Inspire, challenge, and enable teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • 8-11 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • 5-6 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Experience managing cross-functional engineering and manufacturing projects.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent Project Management skills.
  • Strong ownership, commitment, and execution focus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Manufacturing experience within the automotive sector preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CAD and CAE environments to effectively manage engineering projects.
