Responsibilities
- Define project goals, including financial, scheduling, and quality objectives.
- Establish project plans, milestones, toll-gates, and deliverables.
- Select and coordinate project core team members.
- Track project progress and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Ensure compliance with Autoliv quality systems and project management processes.
- Monitor risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive corrective measures.
- Escalate project issues appropriately and proactively.
- Serve as the primary customer interface for project-related matters.
- Represent project interests in customer and supplier meetings.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and reporting.
- Drive professional change management and negotiate changes or claims.
- Provide regular project status updates.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and accountability.
- Lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations and business verticals.
- Support a "One Autoliv" mindset through strong partnership and engagement.
- Inspire, challenge, and enable teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- 8-11 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- 5-6 years of experience in Project Management.
- Experience managing cross-functional engineering and manufacturing projects.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent Project Management skills.
- Strong ownership, commitment, and execution focus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Manufacturing experience within the automotive sector preferred.
- Working knowledge of CAD and CAE environments to effectively manage engineering projects.
