As a System Development Engineer with WWRR Tech, you will troubleshoot and fix production software issues, develop monitoring solutions, and automate operational activities. This role involves working with internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA) and performing SQL queries. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills and can work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues.
Developing monitoring solutions.
Performing software maintenance and configuration.
Implementing fixes for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA).
Performing SQL queries.
Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.
Building and developing tools to automate daily operational activities.
Working alongside development on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects.
Updating/enhancing current software.
Automation of support processes and documentation of systems.

Requirements

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with distributed systems at scale.
Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
