Volvo Cars is seeking a Supply Chain Process Analyst in Ridgeville, SC. This role involves supporting the supply chain to ensure production material availability, troubleshooting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives using various tools and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, establish, and improve standardized work for SCC.
  • Analyze problems, find root causes, develop counter measures, and implement problem solutions.
  • Continuous self-development in systems and processes (advanced Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Support the SCC team with daily tasks.
  • Understand the complete supply chain from supplier to goods receipt, material planning, and plant production restrictions.
  • Compile data daily to create reports for SQD, Alerts, LDJIS coverage, ASNs, Series Tracker, Housekeeping file, A-reports, Backlogs, and Parts marked ND.
  • Gather, request, and track LDJIS Reorders and container requests.
  • Monitor and take necessary action for Discrepancy logs (SCC downtime due to supplier), LOCD No Stock, and Air GC.
  • Support recovery efforts for material expedites.
  • Utilize tools such as Volvo Supplier Improvement (VSIM), A-reports, phone/online conferences, F2F meetings, and escalation activities.
  • Follow up on department KPIs to reach organizational targets.
  • Participate in cross-functional workgroups.
  • Work according to Volvo Cars principles.

  • Ability to utilize mainframe and application-based systems, as well as EDI and MS Office proficiency.
  • 5S – recognize, act, and maintain perfect 5S.
  • Remains flexible and responsive to changing conditions.
  • Listens to others; respects their differences.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Must be able to work OT based on needs.

Desired Qualifications

  • Systems Skills Preferred: MS Office (Excel, PPT, Outlook, Teams, Word), Chimas, TMS / INET, T-Client, SharePoint, Power BI, BMS
  • Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, High School Diploma / GED, No corrective action in last 12 months.
