We are looking for an experienced SQL DBA with expertise in database administration, Ansible automation, and Python scripting. This role involves managing SQL database environments, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security compliance, and automating operational tasks.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SQL database environments.
Monitor database performance, optimize queries, and troubleshoot issues.
Manage database backups, restores, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
Perform capacity planning and database health checks.
Ensure database security, auditing, and compliance requirements are met.
Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
Automate database provisioning, patching, monitoring, backup validation, and maintenance tasks.
Integrate Ansible with enterprise tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Standardize database deployments and infrastructure configuration management.
Develop Python scripts for database administration, reporting, monitoring, and automation.
Create tools for database health checks, performance analysis, and alerting.
Build API integrations between databases and enterprise systems.
Automate routine DBA activities and operational tasks.

Requirements

Strong expertise in SQL DBA.
Expertise in automation using Ansible.
Proficiency in Python scripting.
Experience with database administration.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
