We are seeking an experienced Oracle L3 Database Administrator to manage Oracle 19c RAC databases on Linux. Responsibilities include instance tuning, partitioning, query optimization, Goldengate configuration, and scripting with Ansible and Powershell, within a 24x7 support environment.
Responsibilities
- Oracle L3 database administrator
- Oracle 19c RAC database administrator on Linux
- Implement resource manager for user/service level
- Oracle database RAC instance tuning
- Oracle table/index partitioning and purging
- Tuning complex queries and PL/SQL procedures
- Oracle Goldengate configuration with micro services and Xag
- Shell, SQL, Ansible scripting
- Experience in high data volume environments/performance tuning in ODI/SOA
- Performance tuning
- Migration
- LCM activities
- Scripting (Ansible & Powershell)
Requirements
- Expertise in WebLogic Server (12c/14c)
- Extensive involvement in deployment and Lifecycle Management (LCM) activities
- Experience with WebLogic scripting tools (WLST) for automation
- Strong knowledge of Java EE application servers and Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with Oracle RAC cluster databases
- Familiarity with LDAP, SSL configurations, and security policies
- Understanding of load balancing, clustering, and high-availability architecture
- Skilled in monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
- Open to working 24x7 support and shift-based schedules for business-critical systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage increased technical situations & develop action plans
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
