We are seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead the design and implementation of engineering solutions for complex material flow and human/machine efficiency challenges within the India Amazon supply chain. This role involves leading design and innovation efforts to create optimal solutions for the fulfillment and transportation network, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment and transportation network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high quality, cost effective solutions in very short periods of time.
- Lead the conception and execution of intricate material handling solutions.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers to create innovative designs.
- Conduct post-implementation design reviews.
- Collaborate with the pre-construction and launch team for comprehensive documentation, and update design standards.
- Foster robust relationships with key internal teams and travel across sites spread across India for crucial interactions.
- Develop, document and update design standards in conjunction with worldwide design teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an advanced technical program
- Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity

- Create operation layouts with man & material flow, storage & processing, cafeteria, L&D area, amenities block, dock, yard, MEP service utilities with vehicle and truck parking.
- Release Shelving & MHE Automation RFP and their design approval with IQ/OQ support.
- Provide the Processing 4M to project team for new building launch.
- Vendor evaluation to introduce new vendors for Shelving, Cart, Workstation and MHE.
