Responsibilities

  • Build customer-facing messaging and notification solutions used across SEB.
  • Focus primarily on back-end services, APIs, and event-driven integrations.
  • Contribute to front-end interfaces when needed.
  • Use tools such as GitHub Copilot responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and automation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a back-end or full-stack developer, with strong knowledge of Java.
  • Working knowledge of Angular and Spring.
  • Experience with databases and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
  • Team spirit and care for maintainable high-quality solutions.
  • Practical use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, and interest in exploring agent-based coding workflows responsibly in a secure banking environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with event streaming such as Kafka is a plus.
