Responsibilities
- Define and deploy the Program Verification & Validation strategy and plan.
- Lead verification, integration, and test activities across software, product, and system levels.
- Drive the transition from manual to automated testing using tools like Cucumber, JMeter, Postman, and TestComplete.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Security Signalling, Product Architecture, and Development Centers.
- Manage configuration, change control, and requirement traceability.
- Oversee test execution, reporting, risks, and issue management.
- Define and follow up on test environments, test benches, and analysis tools.
- Represent Alstom towards customers, providing visibility on V&V progress and risks.
- Lead the V&V team and manage subcontractors and work packages.
- Ensure independence between verification and design activities.
Requirements
- Experience in verification & validation, testing, integration, or system engineering.
- Strong knowledge of test automation strategies and tools (e.g., Cucumber, JMeter, Postman).
- Understanding of Agile, CI/CD environments, and software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of integrated systems (CCTV, PA, PIS, communications, control centers).
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for requirements and test management.
- Engineering background with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (French is a plus).
- Leadership mindset, autonomy, and strong communication skills.
- Experience in regulated industries (railway signalling, aerospace, defence, nuclear) is a plus.
