Responsibilities
- Builds the Entra Admin Center, the primary platform for identity and access administration.
- Creates secure, intuitive, and AI-powered admin experiences for enterprise customers.
- Leads frontend engineering standards and shared UX libraries across Entra.
- Builds and operates scalable, secure, and accessible cloud services and user experiences.
- Partners with engineers, architects, designers, and product managers to deliver customer value.
- Develops reusable components and AI-first capabilities to improve quality and speed.
- Collaborates across Microsoft teams to deliver new features and platform improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or Python, OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, coding, and troubleshooting cloud-based software.
- Skilled in analyzing and solving problems using query languages and tools such as Kusto.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across disciplines, levels, and product teams.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Self-starting attitude, excited to make things happen in new and ambiguous situations.
- Proficient in backend technologies and cloud-based architectures to build large-scale distributed systems and AI/ML experience.
Benefits
- Typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,400 - $168,100 per year.
- Different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, is USD $111,100 - $183,700 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
