Ericsson is seeking a Software Engineer in Bangalore, India, to develop cloud-native infrastructure for their 5G portfolio. Responsibilities

  • Work on Ericsson’s Cloud Native Infrastructure product development activities within Ericsson’s 5G portfolio.
  • Develop features and modules aligned with architecture guidelines.
  • Engage in requirement analysis, application design, and development.
  • Focus on test automation and Agile ways of working.

Requirements

  • Masters/bachelor’s degree (4+ years) in Computer Science or related field from Tier-1 institutions.
  • 4 to 6 years of software development experience in products like network management software (NMS/EMS/OSS) in the Telecom or Networking domain.
  • Strong programming skills in Go and Python with a focus on AI native development.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud-native product development using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
  • Good knowledge of Microservices, REST APIs, network protocols, and open-source technologies.
  • Experience in automation, test design, and Robot Framework.
  • Experience with developing AI-enabled workflows, intelligent automation, AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Kiro, Cursor), and integration of LLMs, ML models, and intelligent agents.
  • Familiarity with AI-native development practices across the software lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Linux, scripting, and virtualization concepts.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Git, GitLab, Gerrit, and JIRA.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with developing AI-enabled workflows, intelligent automation, AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Kiro, Cursor), and integration of LLMs, ML models, and intelligent agents.
  • Familiarity with AI-native development practices across the software lifecycle.
