As a Software Engineer in Commercial Engineering & AI, you will design and build AI-native systems for Microsoft's Partner Center, transforming workflows and enabling smarter decisions within the global sales ecosystem. This full-time, on-site role requires a Bachelor's degree, 4 years of experience, and proficiency in AI development, coding languages like C#/Java/Python, SQL, and React.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build AI-native systems that intelligently transform workflows.
  • Work across data, systems, and agentic workflows to enable faster insights, smarter decisions, and higher productivity.
  • Understand end-to-end business processes, workflows, and data flows across the Microsoft sales ecosystem.
  • Rapidly prototype and deliver POCs and iterate on solutions using an experimentation-driven engineering approach.
  • Design, build, and ship scalable, production-quality features and intelligent services.
  • Collaborate across teams to integrate systems, data, and signals into cohesive AI-powered workflows.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability and performance.
  • Build secure, compliant, and responsible AI solutions.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and engineering excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or related field.
  • 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on coding experience in languages such as C# /Java / Python, Sql and React.
  • Proficiency in AI-native development (Agent Harnesses, authoring Markdown specs/ADRs and YAML configs, orchestrating multi-step Agentic workflows, reviewing Agent-generated code).
  • Good fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and scalable systems and Big Data processing.
  • Experience building, testing, debugging, and maintaining production-quality software.
  • Leveraging large language models (LLMs).
  • Solid problem-solving and technical judgment skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms and distributed/service-oriented architecture.
  • Familiarity with reliability, monitoring, and performance optimization practices.
  • Good collaboration and communication skills, with experience in design reviews.
  • Passion for building impactful, user-facing AI solutions.
