As a Software Development Engineer II (SDE-2), you will be instrumental in building distributed systems with challenging requirements on availability, latency, and consistency. You will leverage expertise in software development and automation to revolutionize operational processes, enhance system reliability, and pave the way for continuous improvement. This role requires a strong background in Algorithms, Data Structures, Java, and NoSQL, with experience in high-traffic, scalable services being a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects involving multiple teams in all aspects of the SDLC using an agile process.
  • Conceptualize, design, and implement innovative automation solutions.
  • Fortify system resilience by designing robust frameworks.
  • Drive innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior team members, share best practices, and lead the adoption of emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Strong background in Algorithms, Data Structures, Java, and NoSQL.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and orally) and work well in a team.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new development environments, learn new systems, create reliable and maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with high-traffic, scalable services is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
