Responsibilities
- Support characterization activities of SerDes devices, including hardware bench setups and measurements.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, BERTs, signal analyzers, VNAs, VOAs, OSAs, and power meters.
- Manage lab logistics, safety, and procure lab equipment, consumables, and materials.
- Support the execution of Python automation scripts for device characterization and lab instrumentation control.
- Create and maintain documentation, such as lab user guides and equipment records.
- Provide status reports on lab activities.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Technician or Technology.
- Understanding of basic electrical circuits.
- Ability to debug, repair, solder, and manually assemble PCBs.
- Experience using equipment such as oscilloscopes, BERTs, signal analyzers, VNAs, and power supplies, VOA, OSA, power meters.
- Ability to manage and organize the lab, including tracking of all lab equipment.
- Minimum of 1+ year of technical or related work experience with an Associate's degree, or 2+ years of technical or related work experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Programming experience with Python for IC testing and automation.
- Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity concepts.
- Semiconductor knowledge, particularly SerDes devices.
