In short
Synopsys is seeking an experienced Silicon IP Program Manager with over 10 years in the semiconductor industry to lead customer-facing programs. This role involves managing schedules, deliverables, and cross-functional global teams for analog IP, digital IP, and SoC integration efforts, ensuring timely delivery and reducing integration friction for customer product launches.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout IP program delivery, from kickoff through post-silicon support.
- Own statement of work (SOW), program schedules, milestones, and deliverables across analog IP, digital IP, and SoC integration efforts.
- Coordinate cross-functional global teams including design, verification, applications, and sales.
- Identify technical, resource, and schedule risks early and drive mitigation plans.
- Report program health and blockers to internal leadership and customers in a way that drives action.
Requirements
- BSEE or equivalent, with 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
- Proven technical program management experience in SoC design, analog IP, or digital IP development.
- Direct experience managing customer-facing programs where you owned schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor design flows, IP integration challenges, and what it takes to get a chip to tape out.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, across geographies and disciplines.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to look at a program plan and spot the dependency that will become a problem in six weeks, not after it is already late.
- Ability to listen, clarify, own the follow-through, and close the loop when a customer escalates an issue.
- Ability to stay organized across multiple simultaneous programs without losing track of what matters most.
- Ability to push back when a commitment does not make sense, and do it in a way that builds trust rather than friction.
Benefits
- Annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
- Comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits.
- Competitive total rewards package.
