Responsibilities
- Perform ETL testing and Data Warehouse testing for banking and financial applications.
- Validate source-to-target data mappings and transformation logic.
- Design and execute test cases for batch data loads and ETL workflows.
- Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Identify data quality issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and data engineers.
- Participate in defect tracking and test reporting activities.
Requirements
- Experience in creating and executing ETL test cases, test scenarios, and SQL-based data validation scripts.
- Strong SQL writing and query optimization skills.
- Exposure with Any ETL Tools (such as Informatica, DataStage Designer, or equivalent).
- Hands-on expertise in Oracle DB for data integration and management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design skills.
- Experience in managing and leading technical teams within large-scale projects.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
- Experience with one or more databases: Oracle, MYSQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Teradata, DB2.
- Shell Scripting experience.
- Experience in Any ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Talend, SSIS, Ab Initio, or similar.
- Understanding of data validation, data migration, and data reconciliation.
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Unix/Linux commands.
