Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
  • Conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization, implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
  • Ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Open to rotational shifts and on-call (weekday+weekend)
  • Proficiency in JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Knowledge of Java 7+, SDLC frameworks, database management, APIs, and Caching
  • Proficiency in Java back-end frameworks like Spring MVC or Spring Boot, ORM framework (like Hibernate)
  • Understanding of popular databases like MySQL, Oracle DB including complex query, joins, procedure, functions etc.
  • Understanding of version control systems like SVN, GIT
  • Worked proficiently in various IDEs like IBM RAD, Eclipse, SQL developers
  • Understanding of basic task in WebSphere Application Server 9.x related to dev activities with RAD (like Local Deployment, JDBC configuration etc.)
  • Ability to deliver functional code, often using a unit testing framework like Junit, JMock

Desired Qualifications

  • Good to have the knowledge of open-source UI framework like Angular
  • Good understanding of end-to-end ASM process activities like – SLA acknowledgement, Troubleshooting, Bug fixing, coordinating with different stockholders, performance monitoring.
