Responsibilities

  • Provide application production support in incident management, monitoring, and request fulfillment.
  • Support Oracle Fusion Middleware applications, including troubleshooting, maintenance, monitoring, and build/deployment.
  • Offer production/application support for Java J2EE-based applications on Linux.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with web servers like Tomcat.
  • Collaborate with partner teams and peers to meet SLA requirements.
  • Perform Linux administration, including system monitoring and basic networking.
  • Utilize monitoring tools such as Grafana, ITRS Geneos Console, or similar.
  • Host Oracle applications on cloud platforms like OpenShift.
  • Plan, install, build, patch, manage, configure, secure, and test WebLogic components.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance, patching, and security compliance activities.
  • Assist in planning and executing disaster recovery (DR) failover testing.
  • Create and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual effort.

Requirements

  • Experience in Oracle WebLogic Administration.
  • Experience in Oracle Coherence Administration.
  • Experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware.
  • Experience with IBM WebSphere Administration.
  • Proficiency in WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud.
  • Familiarity with AWS.
  • Experience with OpenShift Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in Shell Scripting.
  • Experience with Java J2EE-based applications in Linux platforms.
  • Exposure to web servers such as Tomcat.
  • Experience with Linux administration, including system monitoring and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, ITRS Geneos Console, or similar.
  • Experience with Java monitoring tools.
  • Ability to work with partner teams and peers to meet SLA requirements.
