Senior Software Engineer - Linux / Android Telephony

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer with Linux/Android internals experience to design, develop, debug, and test telephony software for cellular technologies (4G LTE, 5G). The role involves contributing to the Android Open Source Project and working with cross-functional teams to enable features like VoLTE and video telephony.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and drive new telephony features on Android platform.
- Debug and fix complex problems involving multiple modules from Android UI, framework, middleware to radio interface layer.
- Implement Tools and Test applications to enable and streamline testing process.
- Make contributions into Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
- Contribute in pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up of future chipsets.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in C++ and JAVA/Kotlin programming skills.
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Experience in Android Software Development.
- Experience in Embedded software development on mobile devices.
- Experience in Software development in Linux environment.
- Experience in Object Oriented Design and Development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI technologies and tools to improve personal and team productivity.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for responsibilities and deliverables.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Telephony Domain.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Experience using git for development; patch/tree management.
