Responsibilities
- Passionate about solving large-scale engineering challenges and delivering high-quality, reliable services.
- Comfortable working across the full technology stack with end-to-end systems perspective.
- Designs solutions with a focus on availability, security, scalability, performance, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
- Leverages AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and innovation.
- Uses telemetry, monitoring, and data-driven insights to continuously improve service health and customer experience.
- Builds cloud-native solutions using containers, microservices, REST APIs, NoSQL databases, and Big Data technologies.
- Thrives in an Agile environment with continuous delivery, rapid iteration, and weekly sprint execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, .NET, or Python OR equivalent experience
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, .NET, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, .NET, or Python OR equivalent experience
- 6+ year of implementing REST APIs and micro-services
- Experience with source control and build systems
- Experience handling multiple workstreams in parallel
- Experience working on large scale distributed systems
- Experience leveraging AI and building solutions at scale
