Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software solutions and services that enable sellers to operate effectively across multiple countries and markets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, business, and operations to understand seller needs and translate them into technical implementations
- Build tools and systems that simplify complex processes like customs handling, logistics coordination, and multi-currency transactions
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning to ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and aligned with our platform's standards
- Iterate and improve existing systems based on seller feedback, performance metrics, and evolving business requirements
- Focus on building unified seller tools and services that simplify how products are made available, sold, and distributed globally
- Design new features that help sellers navigate customs and logistics
- Collaborate with product and business teams to understand seller pain points
- Write and review code that powers the platform
- Work across multiple systems and geographies, tackling technical challenges of global scale
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
