Responsibilities

  • Execute RFQs to approved suppliers according to global guidelines.
  • Ensure Purchase Orders are placed promptly to provide full supplier visibility.
  • Manage external and inter-company purchase orders, including updates and date management in Oracle.
  • Conduct periodic supplier visits and weekly milestone reviews for key suppliers.
  • Ensure timely supplier payments and communicate performance reports.
  • Review and update part parameters like lead-times and safety stocks.
  • Administer terms and conditions and ensure compliance with Fisher procedures.
  • Ensure a competitive and technically competent supply base.
  • Lead and manage Health & Safety programs, discuss HSE in meetings, and report incidents.
  • Utilize the Emerson Safety App for 100% utilization.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering (Mechanical engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Breakthrough thinking with a can-do attitude.
  • Desire to work in an inclusive environment and achieve common goals.
  • Actively assist in bid activities to understand customer specifications and propose solutions.
  • Awareness of internal and industry standards as related to position responsibility (preferred).

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to pitch solutions for applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Casting / Machining Knowledge.
