Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of product and process development, ensuring successful project execution and program launches.
- Manage project scope, timing, budget, deliverables, and profitability targets while driving accountability across the project team.
- Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, suppliers, and program management functions to achieve customer and internal milestones.
- Serve as the primary interface with customers, providing project updates, supporting design reviews, and resolving program-related issues.
- Drive project execution in accordance with the Autoliv Product Development System (APDS), maintaining project schedules, risk management activities, and launch readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience leading or participating in automotive product launches within a cross-functional project environment.
- Strong project management and engineering background with the ability to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and project financials.
- Proven problem-solving, organizational, and influential leadership skills with the ability to drive results across diverse teams.
- Advanced English communication skills required.
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish and/or German language skills are a plus.
