Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical infrastructure program across all development phases, owning scope, schedule, risks, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate with utility companies and government agencies for power availability, interconnection, approvals, and energization.
- Oversee delivery and installation of incoming utility feeders, HV/MV substations, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, and busways.
- Support procurement strategy for long-lead equipment like transformers, generators, and UPS systems.
- Review electrical design documents, ensuring alignment with data center reliability and AI workload requirements.
- Monitor construction and installation progress, ensuring compliance with design, specifications, and standards.
- Oversee FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, energization, and integrated systems testing.
- Track electrical package cost, schedule, procurement, risks, and dependencies, developing mitigation plans.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in program management, particularly for electrical infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of HV/MV/LV power distribution, utility interconnection, and substation coordination.
- Familiarity with transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, batteries, and busways.
- Knowledge of protection systems, relay coordination, grounding, and lightning protection.
- Experience with electrical safety, LOTO procedures, and power monitoring/SCADA/BMS interfaces.
- Proficiency in FAT/SAT/commissioning processes.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Experience in contract and change management.
- Ability to coordinate with utilities, OEMs, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong decision-making skills under schedule pressure and ambiguity.
- High attention to detail and strong leadership, ownership, and accountability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and clear written/verbal communication, including executive reporting.
- Strong risk identification, mitigation, and escalation discipline.
- Effective contractor management, commercial awareness, and negotiation skills.
- Strong conflict-resolution skills.
