We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist in Malmö, Sweden, to manage and improve payroll operations. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, agreements and Ingka Group policies and procedures.
- Help co-establish and further develop the payroll capability for GFCI, including sustainable processes, routines and ways of working.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and co-workers to gather information, resolve payroll-related topics and safeguard a positive co-worker experience.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and optimize payroll processes, balancing operational delivery with a tactical improvement perspective.
- Support the implementation of new initiatives, policies, services, systems and tools impacting payroll.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building within the payroll team.
- Provide subject matter expertise, guidance and training to managers and co-workers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a background in HR administration.
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation, compliance requirements and payroll best practices.
- Experience from a multinational and matrixed organisation is preferred.
- Strong payroll operations expertise and understanding of payroll compliance.
- A can-do mindset with curiosity, creativity and a practical problem-solving approach.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Diplomacy and confidence in communication across functions, countries and levels.
- Tenacity and resilience to move topics forward in a changing environment.
- Consistency, accuracy and attention to detail in daily work.
