As a Senior Order Engineer in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating customer orders, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities

  • Review and validate commercial and technical customer orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Verify product selections, options, accessories, and special requirements for compatibility.
  • Evaluate specification sheets, engineering documents, and product bulletins.
  • Coordinate with Sales offices, manufacturing sites, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain product structures and configurations.
  • Review pricing accuracy for special constructions and customized solutions.
  • Respond to order-related inquiries and provide technical clarification.
  • Support backlog management to ensure customer commitments.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Order Engineering, Application Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, commercial documents, and product bulletins.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as Oracle.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of control valves, valve automation, or flow control products.
  • Experience in order management, product configuration, or customer-facing engineering roles.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Exposure to process improvement, productivity enhancement, or digitalization initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
