Your role

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Senior Operations Buyer. You will join our buying team. As an Senior Operations Buyer within Edwards Korea Ltd's Semiconductor Division, your mission is to

1. Manage all aspects of operational supply for Korean manufacturing and maintain continuity of supply to manufacturing cells to maximize service levels 
2. Continuously improve processes used to plan/buy inbound material and reduce total costs and nonvalue-added activity

Job Responsibilities

1.  PO Management to create purchasing order to 3rd party suppliers based on system requirement or manual request from related teams. Open PO management based on in and out environment change and lead the shipment flow until open shipment to complete the goods receipt from inbound team

2. Communication with 3rd party supplier & inter-company to expedite materials delivery, to review delivery performance, to advise future demand change and to sustain robust supply material with optimizing inventory level

3. Update daily/weekly materials control reports to save the backup data for requirements, open po, on-hand information, stock balance etc. Also need to measure supplier performance such as on-time delivery & supplier buffer stock in a regular basis

4. Provide stock availability or stock related information to other teams in occasions it required and lead last time buy if required. 

5. Develop and implement process to improve supplier performance (delivery, buffer, sea freight position) across sites for their assigned suppliers

6. Organize regular business reviews with key suppliers and act as point of communications with nominated vendors on behalf of all sites.

7. Diagnose causes of supply interruptions and report reasons to drive continuous improvement and elimination of root causes with local material control teams.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

Ideal candidates will possess several years (typically 5-7+) of procurement experience in operational settings, preferably within the semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in SAP functionalities related to inquiries, order processing, and data extraction is required.
- A strong understanding of Incoterms and customs procedures is necessary to ensure compliance in international trade.
- Advanced Excel capabilities for data analysis, reporting, and process enhancement initiatives are expected.
- Proven experience managing complex procurement projects with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness and maintaining workflow continuity is important.
- Experience with Kinaxis and Jaggaer is highly preferred.
