Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
  • Plan and review production work orders, determining labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Ensure equipment and machinery are in proper working condition, partnering with maintenance teams.
  • Confirm material availability and resolve material flow issues.
  • Verify completed work orders are properly assembled, packed, quality-approved, and accurately recorded.
  • Provide direct leadership to operators, supporting adherence to procedures and standards.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
  • Support root cause analysis for safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Manage employee time and attendance and support payroll processing.

Requirements

  • Experience leading or supervising manufacturing or assembly operations in a production environment.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety practices.
  • Ability to analyze production data, manage priorities, and make timely, informed decisions.
  • Comfort using standard business and production systems, including data tracking and reporting tools.
  • Skills in people leadership, including coaching, performance feedback, and team development.
  • Flexibility to support operational needs across different schedules as required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in manual assembly or machining environments such as CNC, lathes, or metal finishing processes.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and structured problem-solving tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience supporting equipment maintenance coordination, budget awareness, or product transfer activities.
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish in a manufacturing setting.
