Responsibilities
- Lead M&A and industrial-side strategic transactions and projects end-to-end.
- Run the China board calendar and projects, including preparing board materials and coordinating meetings.
- Own corporate governance and regulatory compliance for China entities.
- Manage significant disputes, including regulatory inquiries and investigations.
- Build a playbook for the team, including training business colleagues and drafting policies.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of post-qualification experience, ideally split between a top law firm and an in-house role at a multinational company.
- Experience leading M&A deals.
- Experience preparing board materials, minutes, and attending board meetings.
- PRC Bar qualification.
- Master's degree in law from a reputable university in China and/or abroad; overseas education preferred.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Track record on M&A and complex stakeholder management.
- Background covering industrial operations.
