We are seeking a Senior Layer 1 Developer to join our team in Poland to work on the development of a 5G/6G UE Simulator. The role involves high-quality coding in C or Golang, understanding of network standards (LTE/5G), and embedded systems. The position offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for professional growth in advanced technology projects.

Responsibilities

Be part of an agile team contributing to Layer 1 development of a UE Simulator.
Configure and test Simulators on underlying hardware, ensuring correct and reliable behavior.
Work in an exciting technical area, supporting internal users with a product for 5G/6G.
Participate in analysis, system design, pre-development, and implementation in small increments.

Requirements

Strong software engineering skills with high-quality code (must have: C or Golang; nice to have: Python and Java).
Familiarity with LTE or 5G network standards and protocols, including physical layer (Layer 1) specifications.
Knowledge of RF propagation, modulation schemes, and signal processing.
Knowledge of embedded systems and software-hardware interaction, ideally with hands-on configuration and testing on hardware.
Knowledge of multi-core/multithreading processor programming and parallel processing.
Readiness to explore new opportunities and continuously learn and improve.
MSc or BSc in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science.
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.

Desired Qualifications

More DevOps-oriented profile is a strong plus.
Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Solid knowledge of Git and GitLab, ideally in a CI/CD context.
Experience with Jenkins or another CI/CD pipeline orchestrator.
Familiarity with event-driven CI/CD architectures.
