In short

We are looking for a Senior Engineer QA to support the management of the QA team, establish and enforce quality standards, and monitor key quality metrics. This role requires a BE/B Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, strong communication, analytical skills, and knowledge of quality system methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of the QA team in developing, implementing, and executing quality assurance strategies and processes.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards and procedures, ensuring consistent adherence across the team.
  • Monitor and analyze key quality metrics to evaluate product performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product development, engineering, and operations teams to integrate quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Plan and oversee audits, inspections, and testing activities to ensure product quality compliance.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including test plans, reports, and defect tracking records.
  • Ensure effective cross-functional communication to meet quality expectations across all stages of production.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering / BE and B Tech or its equivalent with shown ability.
  • Good Communication Skills

  • Very good Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge of quality system methodologies, such as Pareto Analysis
  • Hands on Experience in Microsoft tools.

Desired Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of inspection techniques for castings and precision-machined components.
  • Basic understanding of GD&T principles, including interpretation of position tolerances.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in handling basic linear measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore dial gauges, 2D Microhite, and surface finish testers.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in CMM inspection and contour tracer operation.
  • Basic computer proficiency for report preparation and documentation (MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
