In short

We are looking for an experienced Core Specialist to support configuration, troubleshooting, and security compliance across Ericsson network architecture. In this role, you will provide second-level operational support for Packet Core Data Network services and help maintain the performance, reliability, and security of core network nodes. This position requires 6-12 years of experience in Huawei or Ericsson Packet Switched (PS) Core troubleshooting and configuration.

Responsibilities

Perform configuration, upgrades, and updates on SAPC PCRF nodes.
Monitor and review trouble tickets (TT), change requests (CR), and action tickets (AT) on a daily basis.
Provide second-level support for Packet Core Operations across GSM, GPRS, WCDMA, and LTE technologies.
Support Packet Core nodes, including virtual Evolved Packet Core (vEPC) components such as MME and EPG on virtual platforms.
Follow MSTOP processes in the workplace.
Apply and periodically review password and security policies, and support security audits and compliance activities.
Carry out system configuration changes in accordance with assigned access rights.
Contribute to the development and improvement of departmental procedures and routines.
Participate in technical discussions, identify opportunities to improve network performance, and make recommendations.

Requirements

A degree, equivalent qualification, or relevant experience in Engineering; preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
6-12 years of experience in Huawei or Ericsson Packet Switched (PS) Core troubleshooting and configuration.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Effective presentation and communication skills.
A focus on delivering results and meeting customer expectations.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in Engineering; preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
