Wir suchen einen Senior Customer Engineering (CE) Engineer zur Unterstützung und Skalierung komplexer Device-to-Cloud-Plattformen. Die Rolle ist ideal für einen Ingenieur, der gerne eng mit Kunden zusammenarbeitet, reale technische Probleme löst und mit eingebetteten Geräten, Cloud-Diensten und APIs arbeitet.

Responsibilities

Act as a technical point of contact for customers integrating devices, SDKs, cloud services, and APIs
Own issue resolution end-to-end: reproduction, RCA, fix validation, and closure
Debug device-side issues (firmware, connectivity, power, logs, traces)
Troubleshoot microservices-based cloud systems, REST APIs, and data pipelines
Analyze application and backend issues using logs, metrics, and ELK stack
Translate recurring customer pain points into actionable engineering feedback
Use modern AI-assisted tools and automation to improve investigation speed, documentation, and quality

Requirements

5+ years of experience in embedded systems, IoT, cloud platforms, or distributed systems
Strong programming experience in Java (backend) and familiarity with full-stack concepts
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and OpenAPI / Swagger specifications
Hands-on experience with Microservices architectures
Hands-on experience with Cloud-native services and distributed systems
Hands-on experience with Debugging using logs, metrics, traces (ELK or similar stacks)
Solid understanding of networking, APIs, and production support practices
Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with IoT platforms, OTA updates, provisioning, or large device fleets
Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP or equivalent)
Background in Customer Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Field Engineering
Interest in engineering productivity, AI-assisted workflows, and tooling automation
Comfortable working with global teams across time zones
