Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the implementation, optimization, and day-to-day operation of Cerner's Millennium suite of Solutions.
  • Assist in system configuration, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with healthcare providers.
  • Maintain data integrity and implement quality control measures within the Cerner EHR system.
  • Analyze scheduling workflows and identify areas for improvement to streamline processes.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and issue resolutions.
  • Provide training to clinical staff and end-users on the scheduling system.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to assess system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use (MIPS/MACRA).
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and IT teams.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to the scheduling system.
  • Maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs, and resolve ad-hoc requests.
  • Provide support for enhancement/new developments based on business/client requirements.
  • Present data, information, ticket resolution, and day-to-day support activities.
  • Perform activities related to enhancement creation and document creation for CMMi and client requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Cerner Millennium Scheduling Solution and at least one other module is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and EHR platforms.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance, including HIPAA.
  • Customer service orientation and a willingness to work closely with clinical staff.

Desired Qualifications

  • Module Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth expertise in Cerner's EHR Solutions and at least 1-2 modules such as: PowerChart, CPOE, Cerner Ambulatory, Cerner FirstNet, Clinical Documentation, ePrescribe, PathNet, RadNet/PACS, PharmNet, SurgiNet, ProFile (Revenue Cycle Management), HIM, Clairvia, RevElate, Cerner RCM, CareAware/BMDI, FetaLink & Women's Health, Soarian Invision.
