- Work with cross-functional teams to align harness design with overall project goals, ensuring compatibility with electrical cabling and power distribution systems.
- Engage with Quality Assurance teams to establish and uphold high-quality standards in harness design deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry specifications.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Harness Design Principles and Practices.
- Proficiency in CAD Software for creating Schematics and 3D Routing Designs.
- Familiarity with Electrical Cabling and Power Distribution Systems.
- Basic knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Packaging Considerations.
- Experience in developing Prototypes and Proof-of-Concept Models.
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Harness Designer (CHD) is optional but valuable.
- Professional Engineering (PE) Certification in Electrical Engineering is optional but valuable.
